3:15 – 3:30 p.m. - Serving a selection of fruit and Milk/Squash
4:30 – 4:45 p.m. - Serving a drink and a selection of snacks including wraps, croissants, beans on toast.
Snack time is very social where staff and children can eat together. We encourage the children to help serve where possible.
3:15 – 5:20 p.m. - Structured Activity/Free Play
Free Play Available
Various games and toys
Creative table – gives option to colour or make things
Book corner available for reading and or chatting
Homework table – Children able to finish homework if needed
Depending on the weather – Children can make use of the outside area
Adult support is available at all times should children require assistance or support. Activities will always be available but children will not be made to feel they have to take part.
5:20 – 5:30 p.m. - Tidy Up and Get Ready to Leave
A creative plan noticeboard for the week will be displayed. Children will be encouraged to help with planning and will always be encouraged to give suggestions to enable them to feel part of the Club. The Club may have themed sessions to celebrate special occasions such as Pancake Day, Easter, Multicultural festivals, etc.
